I believe my breach notice was issued in error, what do I do?

  • Please fill out the appeals form on the Appeals page as soon as possible and we will be in contact within 5 days of the appeal application.

What if I can’t pay online?

  • Fill out the Contact Us form, stating ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT as the subject and your number plate & breach reference number in the message and we will respond with our alternative payment methods.

I have lodged an appeal but now the due date for my breach notice is coming up, and I haven’t had an answer on the status of my appeal. What can I do?

  • If you have lodged an appeal inside of the breach notice payment due period, the breach notice due period will be put on hold until a verdict is reached on your appeal. If your appeal is unsuccessful you will be emailed with a new due date for payment.

How do I appeal a breach notice?

  • Please refer to the Appeal page of this website for the appeals process. You must notify us in writing within the breach notice period (or 5 days before the end of the period if notifying by mail) for your appeal to be successfully lodged. For mailed appeals, we require the following information:
  • Breach notice reference number
  • Number plate
  • Return Address or email
  • A written letter of request to appeal and any supporting evidence to accompany your appeal.
